I know this sounds like a bad post, but im saying that it's definetly beyond sad that Flower died, but DONT'T OBSESS OVER IT!!!!!!! I loved Flower a ton too, but she would not have wanted us to cry and be sad for so very long. I'm saying to HONER her more by not thinking only about how she died, but to celebrate her amazing life and remember as she was during most of her life, not in the last few tragic moments. I cry sometimes but mostly i smile over her legacy living on in the Kalahari sands.
two things starblue (yeah i like calling you that) i know this sounds like i'm obsesed but i'm not i cry when i see movies about here sometimes but i can't help it and she was a very brave meerkat (for me to list everything she was this post would be huge) and is prabably not wanting us to only think about her death but the rest of her great life

Yea i see what you guys are saying. But everyone grives in their own way. Personally, when i watch the show to me it's like they're almost a part of my family. like i know them somehow. espeically my favs, when something happens to them, my heart sinks. I can't help it someteims. but i dont' obsess, i know it's not the same w/o flower. but life goes on for the others so we still need to be in good spirits about them and keep our eye on them as well. but never forgetting flower by ne means.
Yes, we don't obsess, but we do feel like the meerkats are part of the family. When I was two I thought the animals lived inside of that little box on the shelf... Weird, eh?

It is hard not to obsess over any of their deaths. The show builds such a strong bond between us and the Meerkats that we think of them as family members, atleast I do, and when a family member passes away; you grieve for a long time. I think of Meerkats as family members, and grieve when one passes.

Its so true... We grieve all differently and we have all our way to past that disturbing life issue.... Not easy to lost someone or an animal we love and time for everyone are not the same for letting them go.... They will always be in our minds and hearts no matter what happends but sometimes to talk about them and remember them help to ease the pain...
