Wow! this episode was not at all what I expected. I am going through the tissues as I write this I know life and death is all around but sometimes you just don't want to see it. I don't know how the researchers can be there all the time. I would not make it. I wish something could have been done to help Flower in her time of need but that is not what the show is about...I guess?
I just hope that this ever so Large part of the desert was NOT left there to rot away...I hope the researchers gave her dignity and gave her a proper burial. Now she can rest with her other family that has gone before her.

well to answer one of your hopes, they did bury her and made a gravestone monument type of thing for her i do not believe they have done this for any other meerkat before.
