We all are saddened by the death of our beloved Flower, but now we know that her daughter, Rocket Dog will carry out Flower's legend. I am pleased to say that, though no one could replace our delicate Flower, she can pass on her legacy.
Just remember,
Even the best fall down sometimes. But you know they'll always be there.

I know Rocket Dog will do well, she just needs time,experience and patience. It's hard to live up to expectations! It is still very fresh on our minds the death of the beloved Flower Keeping fingers crossed that all goes well with our new leader Hang in there girl, YOU can do it!

Yes, I also think Rocket Dog will be fine. She's a fighter just like her mother. SHE just had to realize that. In her last fight with the Zappa, she turned tail at first but when push came to shove, she went for it, confronted the Zappa head on and whipped their little cute butts. She also had the family move to a larger burrow where there was more food so she definately has "leader traits" in her. Her mama would be proud.

I think Rocket Dog will be a good leader for the Whiskers. She still has a lot to learn but she had a great Mother and roll model. I hope she finds a mate soon to help her with the family. Wow, seven pups all at one time. That would have been tough even for our Flower.
I too am still very saddened by the death of our FLower. She was so brave.

I'm greatly encouraged knowing Rocketdog was able to support half the Whiskers, while the gang was apart, when Flower knew they needed to be smaller in numbers for the land to support their need to feed.

Flower must have known then that her daughter would be up for the responsibilities of leadership, even if only for awhile...

... or, did Flower somehow know that her daughter would end up needing the experience??
