As I Gaze At The Moon...

Zaphod comes out of the burrow a week after the tradgety. "Why did I loose you?". He looks to the moon and sees a face. "Flower? Is that y-. No I've gone crazy. I'm imagining." he shakes his head and looks again, the face is still there. "Flower?". Something appears in the distance and Zaphod steps toward it. "F-Flower?", he steps closer and closer still. Someone steps from the distance. Zaphod sits. "Flower? Flower! It's you!" Zaphod runs toward her and gives her a hug. "I'm gone now, Zaphod. But not for good. When you're gone we can be together again. Until then you have to be strong for everyone else! I love you Zaphod." and Flower disappears. "Okay. I'll miss you. Good-bye Flower. Good-bye."

I guess they could because they were experianced. It must have been just as hard for them as it was for us. After all, how could someone who's watched (let alone filmed) the show from the begining, and knew little Flower all her precious life not feel the sadness that struck the millions of fans that Friday?
