Flower's death also affected me, more than I thought it could. She died a noble death to be sure. The fact that she let little axle live was both truly 'Flower Like' and why these little people are so special...
I know the producers would probably much rather have Flower live. Probably a lessor organization would have had some guys from the truck run down a pole to get the snake out, keeping the star safe... It must have been hard to watch her die like that.
What would be good, is that if some portion of the profits from Meerkat Manor went back to say helping to make a national park for all the little guys on the Manor, or that in some way they could benefit beyond the education show aspect. In no way would I want the show to stop in it's present form. It'll be hard without Flower, but her life will go down on film. More than most have for a legacy.

youssarian that is a great idea. You should go through with it. They probably would do that if some other people were filming with makes them a great flim crew. Sure it was Flower and many people have stoped watching the show.
She was a great leader but will always be remembered.
and with the park people could go visit them!
