Meerkat Manor was new to me this season. When I saw that they were repeating the first two seasons this summer, I decided to watch to see what all the hype was about. I was amazed by the way I was drawn in by it. For a week now I well up with tears when I think of Flower. This is the first time I've been able to come to this site and I don't feel foolish any longer on how upset I am. I was even more saddened to hear she suffered for 48 hours. I can understand the researchers not stepping in. They are there to observe nature, not alter it. I think Flower showed her true nature when she adopted Axl and let him into the family. Too bad we humans can't be as accepting and adaptable.
