I watched Meerkat Manor a few days ago and witnessed Flower's death. It saddened me, but then I realized that we should all be thinking about how she lived, not how she died!

Some people may think she is 'just a meerkat', but she was obviously much more than that. She was a noble creature, who led her group through harsh times and successful battles. She seemed to be born the natural leader, always making wise choices and decisions that always led her group through victory.

She often risked her life for her group, and as you saw, she risked her own life to save her pups from the snake. It's unfortunate that she got fatally bitten, but as far as I know, her pups were safe and unharmed because I believe she killed the snake with a fatal injury as well. I'm not too sure because I either missed something or it wasn't clear enough for me.

It is quite clear that her death just shows how intrepid of a soul she really was.

We should all know that everyone is born with a beginning, a destiny, and an end, and it is clear that her life has ended now. May she rest in peace and may her spirit guide her group through miracles and hard times, like she once had.
