I only just started watching Meerkat Manor a couple of weeks ago. When I saw the episode of Flower's last day I was home by myself and I'm glad I was, because I cried my eyes out like a big baby. I had not been watching Flower all that long but clearly from what I have seen so far, love for Flower and her family is very strong. I will miss her so much. I just wish that I had started watching this show when I first saw it on. I missed so much but I am so grateful for what I did get to see.
WE SHALL ALL MISS THE KALAHARI DESERT FLOWER!!!
REST IN PEACE BEAUTIFUL ONE!!!!

We all miss Flower. She, and her Whiskers, introduced many people to meerkats. Her legacy lives on in many groups now.
AP has been re-running the first three seasons, which are all the episodes with Flower. Season 4 (which they have not re-aired in a long time) was about some of her children, as they became leaders themselves in Whiskers, Aztecs and Commandos. Many other groups now have former Whiskers as their leaders, Flower's children and grandchildren.
There is also a book, Meerkat Manor: Flower of the Kalahari by Tim Clutton-Brock, which is the story of her life. There is also a movie, Meerkat Manor: The Story Begins which is a tribute to her, although the movie takes a lot of liberties with the true story of her early life.
