Can't believe how saddened I was hearing about Flower's death. Watching it was even harder. I was crying at the title screen. Atleast she can chase Steve and his dog around heaven with my beloved dog Tracker. RIP Steve, Sui, Flower and Tracker.

I join you in your grief. Steve was a devastating loss and I cried for days after his death. But I was absolutely shocked at myself to find how much Flower's death affected me as well. I cry as I write this. If only I was half the person that she was meerkat. She lived as we all should. Brave and kind, simple and loving, courageous and generous. Goodbye Flower.

I had that same thought when I watched again Monday night. Steveo and Flower, watching over all the wildlife.

In I999 I was lucky and priviledged enough to join my husband when he filmed with Steve and Terri in "The Sidewinders of Arizona". His passion was so real, as was Flowers. Animal Planet brings nature front and center in so many great ways. And we are the better for it. When Steve died We were Hit hard, after spending a week with him and subsequent cards and letters throughout the years it hit close to home..Flower was a selfless, smart and a supereior meercat. A dedicated family girl..and extremely charming and entertaining maybe thats why hers loss reminds us of the untimely departure from this plane of existence,
reminds of Steve Irwin.

I thought the same thing...what a parallel between Steve and Flower! It just amazes me how these creatures impact our lives.

All great comments. Steve Irwin's death was a shock, as was Flower's. Both were "wildlife warriors"! We'll miss both of them!

wow...how could Flower die? meerkat life will never be the same... she was a fighter, mother of more than anyone could manage, she helped the family through times of crisis. season 3 of meerkat manor was heartbreaking, im hoping there is some Flower in Rocketdog. Steve and Flower, in heaven...two great wildlife warriors! In Steve's name "crocs rule!"
