I think steve was bitten too many times. I realize he takes that risk being the croc hunter but he isn't a robot, he is a human he can only take so much. But i guess he is so accustomed to it, that it don't even phase him.

I know I saw one show where he was bitten by a mildly venomous Australian snake, I think it was, and I've seen him get bit by more than one Retic
