Most everyone here rides either huters jumps or equ. because of the show, Horse Power was geared towards English riders since it follwed riders to the Maclay which is a largelargelarge Equtation competition. Wink

I grew up riding western though. When I lived in New York my friends and I would trail ride western sometimes. But I haven't been in a western saddle in ages. It couldbe soon though, my new trainer does Equ. with me but has a huge background of reining and she still trains reining horses professionally.

oh yeah i guess that would explain it! haha well if you dont mind having a western rider comment some of your posts, or what ever they are called, i will stay! horses are horses no matter what you ride them in so it shouldnt be a problem! i might just have to ask a few questions about english things that i dont know about!

Here's a little about me. i own a arab/quater cross named Frisco. He looks all arab tho with a quater horses eyes and hind quaters. he is the love of my life!! i just started riding when i got him for christmas, but i have loved horses since i first rode one! im 15 (almost 16! in july!) and junior in high school when school starts up again!

Plus if you plan on going to any AQHA shows you have to be a member. Wink

I have a QH gelding whom I bought about 6 weeks ago or so, we're showing locally this year and not doing many breed show, but I am taking him to regionals in July...lucky for me locally is home of Congress. Easy access.
