i ordered a pair of vogel customs a month a go and they take 14-16 weeks to arrive and since i have a horse show this weekend i bought a pair of ariat crowne zips to use in the mean time. i bought a size slim because the regular stretches over time and looks sloppy. does anyone know how i can get the calves of my boots to stretch a tiny bit in a short amount of time?

iif you wear a regular calf...then it was not a bright idea to get slim calfs. especially int he crownes.

i have crowne pros in a reg. calf, i've had them for about 4 months now...and there's not sloppy stretching, nor was there any with my last pair.

you can take them to a leather repair shop, but they'll tell you that they either can't stretch them at all or can stretch them a minute amount because of the zippers. you can't stretch zip boots as much as you can strech pull ons. they won't and if they do, it'll break the zipper.

how about u spray boot stretch on the inside and then wear them for an hour so they mold to your calf? If this doesnt work, then maybe u should rub corn oil on the every 20 min for as long as u want, and in between applicatons, rub and bang the boots. This will make them softer, so maybe they will stretch. At the show, there is a possibility that the zipper will break, so bring black electrical tape to tape the back if this happens.
