Sadly I have out grown my first horse. I am a hunter/jumper and I need a 3ftish horse for next summer. The horse must meet the following requirements . . .
*Must be at least able to jump 3ft with no problem.
*Must be located in the USA(Midwest Region).
*Also I can not afford a horse that is 100,000 dollars, if you know what I mean.
So I know that many of you (or at least I do) spend time when ur bored looking at horses on dreamhorse, Equine.com, ect. So If you know of any horses please post a link to them on here.
have you tried bigeq.com? it has horses and ponies for sale all hunter/jumper, listed by region with the most recent ads listed first. it might be a good place to sell yours and look for a new one. if you don't have a ton of money to spend and don't mind working with babies, i bought a beautiful hannoverian filly from fairview horse center in leesburg,va. we bought her totally sight unseen. our vet recommended a colleague of his in va. to do the pre purchase exam (which other than some papillomas on her muzzle and ears which went away on their own) was flawless. he said she was a wonderful horse to work on. so when we got pre purchase report we drove down to pick her up. the owner of the farm is really nice and they have some lovely babies between weanling and 4 year olds. i know its kind of far but sometimes you need to look outside your region to find a gem that no one else knows about! if you have a little more money to spend look at germansshowhorses.com good luck! and happy horsey hunting!!
just wondering if you've had any luck in your search for a new horse? have you tried any yet? have you sold your horse? its hard if you have to sell your current horse before you can get a new one. do you have any video or picture from shows? if you do you should use them to sell him/her, or have a friend or you trainer help you make a good video.. there are some good sites to sell your horse on. hope ur having luck!
