my horses who are normally turned out from early morning to evening had to be in for a couple of days during an ice storm and they both started chewing through the walls(both in the same spots!) i tried the stop chew spray and that only seemed to encourage their efforts.they have loddon low front stalls (the half doors) so they can hang their heads in the isle, they have salt blocks, they have toys, hay in front of them all the time and a grill between their stalls so they can see each other. im sure they started this out of boredom, but i can't get them to stop.and i don't want it to turn into cribbing. i've wracked my brain and tried every thing i can think of. i nearly ready to put cribbing muzzles on them, but i would hate to do that. any suggestions would be greatly appriciated!
