Okay, at my last riding lesson (my first riding lesson at that stable) i rode this horse named Greece Lightning and he's kind of difficult sometimes, basically he's missing walk, and he's coming close to losing trot. Towards the end of the lesson he was finally starting to listen to me more, but not fully like the horse i rode at my other instructor's place. Next time my instructor wants me to ride a different horse just because of the size difference, i know riding that little pony that doesn't listen brings a slight size prob but i want to learn how to get him to listen to me because its not like every horse i ride is going to be perfect. And especially because i'm gonna be looking at horses next spring and my next lesson is my last one and i might not exactly be riding the perfect horse when i'm trying out horses and when i get my own horse him and i are gonna have bad days. Is it okay to hask for a different horse, and how should i??

hi, didn't you say that your instructor is going to put you on a different horse anyway?

i think you should ride a different horse because the pony could have been acting up because you were to big for her because an instructor shopuldnt put you on a challanging horse your first lesson because its more about the instructor learning your riding style not seeing if you can handle a bad pony. the pony was probably acting up because you were to big for her
