Hi all, I am sorry to use this as a type of advertisement, but since the our new site is free to use and HJN is specific to the site, I simply wanted to get the word out about a new social network site specifically for horse enthusiast and even more specifically for hunter and jumper enthusiasts. My wife and I have started this site because we felt it was important for horse enthusiasts to have a site of their own that is not a sub-directory of a bigger site in order to share stories, pictures, videos, advice and comments on everything equestrian related. The site, ShowMyPony.com, is new and we only have 12 members so far, however we are dedicated to growing it. The site is safe, all the pictures are moderated and approved by my wife and I. My daughter, who is only 3 and has been showing since she was 19 months (lead line classes) is on the site via photos and videos, so you can see this is a family oriented and safe site. My wife has been showing since for 23 years, my mother-in-law owns a tack shop, and my father-in-law is on the board of the Texas Hunter Jumper Association, so we are real and simply want to make a great social site for horse enthusiasts. I would love for you to check it out, join if you want, or simply provide any feedback you have. We are even running a contest for a Leather Halter with personalized name plate, coordinating lead rope, and white pad with piping.
