Post the best and most insane "Battery Hacks"
After seeing some that are out right lies, I'm unsure which are real and which are lies.
Since I cannot cut and paste links I ask you to post the best and worst offenders...!

The ones where one finds a large quantity of AA batteries in a Car battery or 6 volt lantern battery are definitely not real.

On the other hand, you CAN get some button cells out of a A23 (referred to as a MN21 by Duracell). The A23 is a tiny 12 volt battery consisting of 8 tiny button cells inside and is used in some car-alarm key fobs and garage door opener remotes.

The other one would be AAAA cells (yes, 4 As) in a 9 volt battery but that depends on the manufacturer of the battery; Duracell is the brand of 9 volt battery to dissect if you need AAAA cells from what I know. Other brands of 9 volt batteries like Eveready may contain small, rectangular flat cells instead. AAAA cells are not very commonly used though; so far, the only two things I know of using such a battery is the Streamlight Stylus penlight and a cheap Bluetooth headset by Jabra (model BT-2040)

BTW, Hack 3 isn't for getting batteries but rather re-building an existing battery pack with new cells. I recently had the same thing done on an old DeWalt 12 volt NiCad battery pack for my drill. The cost to put new cells in the old battery pack was $27 done professionally (I had a place called "Batteries Plus" do it) compared to about $60 if I were to purchase a brand new DeWalt 12 volt battery pack

The fake ones arent all that funny...
I hear you I need to rebuild my 12 volt skil.
I just bought a whole new drill and battery for $40.00
Ironically I still want to rebuild the spare battery pack.
Having said that these spoofs strongly discredit the rebuilds....

How it works

This site says you're wrong. Of course, if you still deny it, then the mythbusters won't do any good. The site I linked is one of the sponsors of the show, so they must be part of the 9v conspiracy.

This site makes it very clear you may only give to mythbusters myths to bust and talk about old rehashed myths. This is pretty cold in the face of the median age of Mythbusters viewers. Sure Devilslexicon posted 2 subjects that were within his own area of study and need for input and feedback. However the forum is filled with mindkless windbags and people like you pesudo authoritarians.
so whatever buddy you feel better now?
as a result of this forum I have raised every concern about the content of actual Mythbusters programming...with the proper authority.
These people are so far out of line it boggles the mind. Devilslexicon and Atomic49er

It also boggles the mind that you admit to having three screen names now.

Which, is against the terms of service agreement that you agreed to abide by when you signed up.

Again, their board, their rules.

If you have just been put in the moderation queue, and not outright banned, after being reviewed, your post will be posted after a Mod checks it out.

This may take awhile, and your post may be edited, but it WILL show up, if it is approved.

If you are in the Mod queue, I would suggest trying to use your first screen name.

To manufactur a battery with-in a battery is just not cost effective.
I think that the Mythbustera should even buy a Tesla motor car to see of they really use thousands of AA Lithum Ion rechagrables.(as they once claimed. (Of course they might have used tens of laptop batteries at first tho...)
evidence shows that while some batteries contain "dry cells" (electric drills) That for now the claim that you can recover "batteries from inside batteries" is wrong at least in the "standard" size sense.
I say let the Mythbusters buy each and every battery and pry them open and see just what makes them tick.
Period
(I cannot afford to)
"cell wise" the concept seems to make sense. This is to say that there must be limitations on the construction of other than 1.5 volt alkyline cells. This makes 6x1.5 for a 9 volt seem possible, however unlikely it may seem.
