http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQhPQqYT8QE Shows a video of a man opening his car with a phone while on the other end a person using a same type of key sends the signal through the mobile. Is that busted?

I got a problem with this myth bust! They only tried it on "ONE" type of vehicle! There is more than one type of remote sytem in use on todays vehicles. I AM NOT CONVINCED! They need to re-visit this one!

Be convinced.

All car remotes all use one thing--radio.

Cell phones do not rebroadcast radio, only audio. In short, the cell phone doesn't hear the signal from the remote, and can't send it out on the other end even if it did.

It's simply physically impossible.

Busted.

If you don't believe Lokifan then watch the video again - and this time with the sound on. Grant explains exactly the same thing.
