Hey can I just hang out wit'you guys. I don't wanna crab or nuthin I just wanna hang out. I could be pretty useful too. I know how to relay messages like I could talk to the camera for the Capatain. You know like on Star Trek where the pointy eared guy tells the CaptaIN EVERYTHING THATS GOING ON. I'm sooo excited. I can't speel anymore.. ooooh. I can cook too I can make microwave omlets and TV Dinners. I can warm up bagels and I learnt how to make those sausage sandwichs. I went to film school so if they need another camera guy I do that too. I will read a book about diesel mechanics so's you can get rid of the mechanical guy too. and then I can make a machine like that guy Eric wants to make and the boat will be all robotic and chit. OOOOOH man. This is gonna be soooo coooooooaaall. OK, OK my email addres is: Rambo@VAPsychhosp. gov so hurry up and e-mail me before they pass out the meds.
None of you guys will ever get hired by posting ads on an internet message board and I guarantee you that. If you want the job you just need to fly out there and start beating the docks.

Good one, seriously, back in the 80s I was invited to greenhorn on one of the crab boats. I was fishing on the east coast. Decided to stay, didn't want to start at the bottom again. Plus skippering for whale watchers was easy money.
yeah im looking for work to i figure im gona go down there and do my best tah let the captains and crews know im looking make friends ect problem im wondering is i am on ssi so if i make the cash im screwed loose medical for myself my lil girl ect im wondering if one of the captains would take me on as a greenhorn let me work a season for free or for airfair there and home or somthing and at the end of the season tell me if they think i have what it takes to make a career outa fishing well my emails dcnadeau770@yahoo.com
if anyone has been on a boat or knows a captain let me know what a captain would say to an offer/request like that thanks
ok first off you dont have to go to the dock what you have to do is grab a phone book or look online for the different fishing companies most of them are docked out of seattle anyways like the northwestern and the wizard so find which company owns the boat fill out an application and see if they call you.
The first thing you need to be ,is a little insane. That is on the top 10 of going fishing.I have seen many people promise me many things they can do in the bar.I was a surf clam boat captain for 22 years.I have see them come and go,sometimes there is that one person that will suprize you.I think that if people tried this job they wouldnt say much about the price of sea food any more. That goes for all fishing. The deadlyest catch is what ever that crew is fishing for and any where our fisherman brothers travel. The men and women that do this job know,it could be a nice day or hell geting handed out.the moment you set foot on that boat its on.When things go wrong they realy go wrong. We all lost alot of freinds out there and family, for me.I will say this much, once you put them boots on they dont come off.You might leave for a while, but you will be back.It calls to you.
