I have encountered dangerous situations in my life - being on a 100 ft diameter island surrounded by water. the land lit on fire from the sun; the grass was all dead. This is not recent. I have done boot camp or the miltary; I personaly didnt find that to difficult, though many people in my platoon did. Almost drowned 3 times, two of them me blacking out, and being saved. And last but not least the worst of it all my life. I am looking to put my past behind me; and there is more, but I want to do the most dangerous/ deadliest job in America. So in doing so my past wont seem as bad compared to that. I love the water/ Ocean. I love fishing, I would have liked to have become actor, but the big moments of groing up arent and wernt decided by me. They were by my dad. And I only had one person to give a decision. So I know how 95% of people either cant or wont do this job, and every time you get that greenhorn, from that %. No im not saying you dont know what you are doing when you hire, (you have a whole crew and a ship worth alot so i think you know what you are doing) but tis just a quick pick of what ever is available. You yourself just came to Alaska with your brother and started fishing on other boats. How you did is what I want to know and how I can do it. If you can give me a job, if not point me in the direction i need to go to fish the Bearing Sea. I have been trying to get a job since november of last year (2008) and I have had no luck. I am in nh, and nh is supposed to be one of the most employing states right now. I am young only 18, but ready to work. I dont like to sleep, i LIKE TO WORK CONSTANTLY, and all my life the more difficult thing have been easier for me than the "easy" ones them selves. Such as skateboarding, suck at ollieing, but great at grinding. Id be better at fishing than working on a cashier at walmart. I dont know what to do any more, maybe you do.
