I am fine in a wheelhouse in 4 inch heels in 15"seas. I am also a granddaughter of a Cappy who knows the Sea is HBIC. I am fine asea. But if I hit land I get sooooooo sick. Icepicks behind my eyeballs is the best I can hope for. Mostly I get really sick and heave all over if I am more than a couple days aSea. I know better than to set foot on a working vessel (superstition, my butt). Does anyone else do fine and dandy aSea, but get heaving sick when the world stops moving? I also wonder if any of those tough-as-nails cappys on the show who ride bikes have been tough enough to Ride The Dragon in WNC.......
a lot of times, especially if it was really rough coming in to port, dry land will feel as if it is heaving up and down.i'll go to take a shower at home and hardly be able to stand up.
not freaky, impressive! my family owns a 30' sailboat in the great lakes, and after a weekend, It can sometimes feel like the bed is swaying on dry land. and I'm not pyscho enough to go out in 15' seas. I stick to 4' or less.
15" SEAS? I assume you were bragging about 15 foot seas? Either way,,, 15 foot Seas ain't JACK compared to 30-50 foot seas, don't pat yourself on the back to hard sweetie...
