I love the show too, and you had lots of great suggestions for future shows. One thing that I would like to suggest is that they have a sentence at the end of each episode to let you know that it is over. It seems like the episode just stops, it doesn't really have a conclusion. Even if what just something simple like, "and that's how adhesive tape is made."
I love "How it's made" too! However, watching it on 5 july 2006 around 11AM on Discovery Science Romania, I've seen an inaccurate information. The inventor of pen (with reservoir, storage of ink) is not an american, but a romanian - Petrache Poenaru who discovered it in 1827. Sorry I posted it here but I've tried posting on Discovery Romania feedback and I got an error. Best regards, Mihaela Ignat

in another box I said i would like to see 6mm plastic colored bbs made but I would like to add that I would like to know and see how they get exactly the perfect amount of plastic bbs in a box.
I'd like to see "How it's Made" do an episode on how high performance bowling balls are made. I understand the Storm bowling company put scents on their bowling balls. I'd like to know how it's made.
Recently, 3D movies are making a comeback. The hit started with Polar Express, then Chicken Little, then Superman returns, and today Monster House. I heard that these new wave of 3D movies are made with new technology. Everyone knows how 50 year old 3-D movies were made. I'm more interested to see how they are made using 2006 technology. e.g. what kind of project screen and projector is used. Also the future of 3D movies. I heard that Steven Speilburg is building 3-D cinemas by using prismic projection that does not require the viewers to wear 3D glasses.
I'd like to see a how it's made show on yeast as a nation we eat millions of baked products every day using tons of yeast but ask anyone and they could'nt tell you how yeast is made or where it comes from. Have you ever seen a yeast truck? Have you ever seen or heard of a yeast manufacturing plant? I only know of one small company called flishmans that sells yeast no one knows ...where it comes from, how it's made or how distributed.
I would like to know who manufactures the machinery that makes a number of products. Such as the machine that produce cardboard boxes, Computer or robot machinery that builds cars and other mechanical and electrical products.

There are specialized companies that make much of the machinery. Some is proprietary and engineered in-house, but most is farmed out to third-party companies who can usually modify an existing machine to produce a new product. Different companies specialize in different types of machines. Some make robotic assemblers like they use in the automotive manufacturing industry, some make automated packaging systems, and still others make canning and bottling machinery.
Actually, I think that would make an excellent show on its own.
I Love the show. My children and I enjoy watching and learning about everything from crayons to insulation.
I am a writer and I'm often asked about Print-on-Deman publishing. This is the process of taking a manuscript, designing a cover and then making the book available for one-off printing by a digital press.
I know an excellent company (leader in the field) an could arrange for contacts with them as well as writers and cover artists.
my kids want to see how you make a car, coutches, how they start roses and other plants, and metale, fencinglip balm, rawhides for dogs, Landry baskets, tennis shoes, gold chains, 5 Galen bottles.
The 'How It's Made' show should do a four segment special on how the show itself is made while simultaneously welcoming Brooks Moore back as the regular narrator.
Men's T-shirts, they have no seams, i dont understand how they are made, it makes no sense to put a T-Shirt together doesnt there at least need to be one seam but there are none on the sides.
I am really interested to see how to make a refrigerator. and also: -The delta IV RS-68 engine. -Children -Tomatoes -Global Warming -High-bypass turbo fans -Beef Jerky -C-4 -Nail Clippers -Corn Dogs -Condoms -IUD birth control -B-52's
Two words, BIKE PARTS: Bicycle chains. Carbon frames. Bottom bracket or wheel hub bearings. Carbon and aluminum triple-butted handlebars. Chain rings/gears. Et al! Cheers,
I would like to see how fabric is made. I think it would be enlightening for many people. We wear fabic everyday but most people have no idea about how a loom works and what weft and warp mean. It could expand from actual weaving into printing on fabric as well. Thanks! I love the show!
My 9 year old son has been asking me to write and ask you to do a show on how they make two way mirrors. If this has already been done please let me know where I can find it so he can see it. thank you!!
