To the people who are mis leading the public about jet engine operating principles. I'm not saying that the hot exhaust gasses do not help to move the plane, what I am saying is that it is mainly the explosion that occurs in the combustion chamber, that exerts the main propulsive force to the engine via the thrust frame in the engine which is bolted to the airframe. an explosion provides equal force in all directions and thus forcing the airframe forward. this is the fundamental principle on which the jet engine is based the hot exhaust gasses that are ejected out the tail pipe have expended most of their energy in turning the turbine rotors which in turn turn the compressors. So in all relevance it is the explosion that occurs in the combustion chamber that propels the aircraft forward and not the exhaust. Please Kindly correct this information in any following discussions about Jet Engines
