By far the dirtiest thing I ever had to do was working on a machine that ground up the "unused" parts of cattle in a packing plant, the stuff had a real bad smell and was loaded with microorganisms, had the consistency of slime, and the smell permeated your skin and stayed that way until after about six months after I left that job.
