While it wasn't always dirty and stinky...it could be very dirty when the kids came in with smelly, dirty feet and didn't have socks on, wanting to try on shoes. Some were downright nasty.
We'd have "try on" socks and when the customers left we'd have to throw those socks away they were so rotten smelling!
Thankfully that's the dirtiest job I've had...nothing like what Mike Rowe has been doing!
