My dirtiest job ever was cleaning a drain in a cooler at a fast food chicken restaurant... bits of raw chicken, fat, skin and juices had gone down the drain, causing a clog and a smell that almost shut the restaurant down because it had begun rotting! The cold from the cooler only has a certain depth and past that, things really rot... My manager asked me (after no one else in the place had hands small enough) to try to figure out what was clogging the drain and causing the smell. I got/had to reach into the drain up to my elbow. The rubber gloves supplied, of course, weren't long enough and didn't allow enough grip so I had to do this "bare handed". I pulled out all kinds of "fun" stuff, got the clog cleared and cleaned the drain thoroughly with a bleach solution. Needless to say, I asked for (and got!) a raise immediately afterward! ;-)
