This may not be the dirtyest job there is, but its is pretty dirty.Puting in a new sea walls is not the hard or the dirty part, taking out the old one is.Try pulling 16 foot 2 by 8's out of hard pan that have been the for 40 to 60 years. Not to mention you may have to get in alligator and snake infested waters. Then after you take out 60 to 600 feet of old sea wall, guess what you have to but new pielings and vertical 16 footers back inn.Useing a jet pump and a 175 pound hammer for the pielings and a 75 pound hammer for the vertical 16 footers. After that is finished you then move on to putting dead men in to support the wall so it doesnt blow out, useing cable around the pieling back to the dead man,the cable has to be as tight as possible,so guess what once you have them all tight you then go back and tighten the one's that have loosen from you tighting the rest the others.

Mike,
Hope to hear from you !!!
