Very simple job sometimes with bad consequences. People fill thier boat heads and we go empty them using briggs pumps. If they are not staying hydrated it is often quite a chore, we can tell because of the clear viewer to see the rate of poo flow. Once our boat is full we take it over to an offload staion and empty the contents of the pumpout boat( 300 gallons of brown gold- gold because we earn tips from the people). We had a new guy once the frogot to open the valves properly and started the pump which in turn blew the hose apart and a geyser of crap shot about 30 feet in the air. He hid under the T-top of the boat while many gallons of poo rained down on it. Sometimes while we are facing away from a customer we sneak a candy bar(Snickers or something with peanuts) and make a face bomb. By turning around and saying there is a major problem here the people usually freak for a minute especially if we start licking our fingers and muttering how the smells have finally driven us insane. I have many many more stories if you want them.
