I have seen the hog farms on the show and i would like to say weak. I am off the farm now but still help while I can. There is so much that was missed vaccinating casterateing (no teeth required) power washing manuer hauling feed grinding. and all the hauling and moving of the pigs. This is just to keep the hogs alive. Now pile all the crop work. There is a one week span where the sow are weaned, finishing shed emptied, nursery emptied, nursery power washed, farrowing house emptied, farrowing house power washed, sows moved back in, plus the artifical insimination. So here is a farm that could keep you busy for a week. It is a lot of fun. Drop us a line.
