Just out of High school I went to work for a warehouse selling Atari home game systems and games. This was around 1981 and these things were the hottest thing since sliced bread. Now the games were made in asia and they don't use good ol' American cardboard but some stuff I was told was made from a rice pulp. The Games were packed 4 to a case and bulk loaded onto 45 foot containers which were in turn loaded onto container ships for the trip across the pacific. One there, there were off loaded and either trucked or shipped by rail to us. Now during all this jostling around over the ocean waves and highways, the boxes are constantly rubbing together creating a fine dust that gets on and in everything. We were tasked with unloading the containers and in turn shipping out the orders. In the winter this wasn't to bad but during a Texas summer, it was inhuman. (We registered 135 degress once.) The sweat attracted the dust and the dust seamed to clog your every pore causing you to sweat more. There was no A/C in the warehouse and fans were ineffective. After a day in the trailers I would cough up that dust for hours. I worked construction doing vent work in attics and it wasn't as bad as that warehouse from hell. (BTW, I have a deep seated hatred of video games to this day.)
