A few years ago I worked with my husband remodeling homes. Installing insulation in a home is not only usually hot, the fiberglass gets all over you and in your skin and I happen to be allergic so it breaks me out in hives for a few days after. In addition to that which is not so dirty but annoying, we did all the finish out work as well. Taping and bedding or mudding all sheet rock joints....not so bad if you know how to do it. The sanding of all the mud is a whole other story. You get the dust in your eyes ears and nose and it makes your hair so dry you could almost break it off.

Last but not least would be the janitorial service that I started for myself. Not sure what I was thinking but I like it alright. I do work with employees as an employee myself and I saw the nastiest bathroom I think I will ever see about 3 weeks ago. This was a post-construction commercial job and the bathrooms were not remodeled. The last toilet in the womens restroom looked like someone took a huge 20 gallon water balloon full of poo and just slammed it down on top of that toilet. I guess they tried to flush and it did not work. There was poo EVERYWHERE. I thought about just burning the place down...just kidding. How did I do it? There was tile about 5 feet up the wall so I took a whole bottle of toilet bowl cleaner and flung it all over the whole bathroom and gave a lot to the toilet. Waited about 5 min and scrubbed the whole place down with a toilet brush and scrub brush. Then rinsed it all down and mopped up all the water. Thank the man there was a drain in the floor. Good as new.

If you have not done finish-out yet, you should look into it. Its pretty dirty. Paint and cleaning out paint trays and spills and sheet rock dust. Pretty messy anyway. Im lucky because me and my husband are doing some of the work on our own house being built so I just got to help put in some of that wonderful insulation and get to tape and bed and paint for the next week or so. WoooHoooo!!! Im kidding. The pay off is worth it...really.....not really.....yes really it is ~ or at least it will be.
