Hotter than hell is the best way I can describe this job! Radon gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States, and my job is to remove it. Mitigation work involves running a 3" pvc pipe from the basement/crawl space of a house up thru the garage into the garage attic and finally out the roof. It's a hot and dirty job in itself, but the hot humid summers can make it down right unbearable. It's always fun to run into the occational rodent in the most confined spaces too! No job is finished without being soaking wet with sweat and half the houses insulation attached to your body!
