Poop doesnt even begin how my job begins. I work a 12 hour day in a hospital, with a minimum of 8 patients all having varying degree of health problems. There are ones who have no control over any of their bodily functions, they poop and pee on the bed chair floor, anything. I clean poop, pee vomit, and blood all day long. Then there are the dressing changes of bed sores so bad they go down to the bone and the smell that emits from them smells like death from the infections running rampid. The patients that are in isolation because of an infection in their poop called C-Diff they have watery loose poop that has a smell you will NEVER forget. Other patients have infections and are in isolation for VRE, or MRSA (I suggest you look it up), and we have to help them just as much as those of us that dont have the infection. We wear blue gowns, gloves masks, and sometimes eye wear. I get farted on, peed on, and puked on on a daily basis. I change bed sheets more than I have in my life. But I sure hope that someone would do it for me if the time comes, and I wouldnt change my job for the world....
