When I was a kid I learned a song about something I always thought was spelled something like "gooey duck." Once when I was in high school I actually looked it up and found it's actually a geoduck, and it's a kind of shellfish.
My interest kind of ended there.
Then I saw Mike's geoduck episode, and finally understood just how disgusting the geoduck is -- this critter we'd sung about so many times as a kid.

Evergreen College also uses the Geoduck as their mascot - check it out online, it's either hilarious or vulgar (even for us northwesterners who are used to the Geoduck)
