Like Mike I also have a farming background, and at first I was going to share my tale of the chicken coops. After some thought, I think the dirtiest job I ever had was in health care. At a nursing home. About ten years ago I was hired to be this nursing home's Infection Control Officer. I have now seen it all. Dirty kitchens, dirty floors, dirty nurses' stations, but the dirtiest part of the job was being in charge of "haz mat" trash. Yes, this facility spent a lot of money hiring a professional RN to make sure that their medical waste was being disposed of in the propper manner. When I say medical waste, I mean waste!! Syringes, soiled dressings, you name it I saw it. I'd go into all the gory details, but Dirty Jobs is a family show. My best advice to everyone is: DON'T GET OLD OR SICK!! I actually lasted 6 months at this dirty job!
