Hi Mike:

I have been out of work for some time, having lost my job when my entire company closed. I am a Marketing Professional and have found that the job of finding a job is DIRTY -- full of *ss-kissing and covert operations on both ends and the general feeling of needing a shower afterwards.

I am very interested in working for QVC and I see they have a position open that fits my skills and background. I am hearing from potential employers that they are receiving 200 applicants or more for each open position, so you really need to set yourself apart.

What would set me apart is a "foot in the door" introduction from you please. I would not ask you to be a reference as you know nothing about me other than I love "Dirty Jobs". (Hope that's a pro vs. a con.) All I need is a chance, the rest is up to me!

Thanks so much and I hope this Sunday morning finds you relaxing at home.
