I've never seen anyone so inconsiderate of other people while being so full of themselves. I shouldn't say "I've never," but that episode of Princess Sam was ridiculous.
Usually, Doug eggs on the homeowners to make snide comments about home improvements done to their former homes. In this episode, Princess Sam didn't need any coaxing. She needs to look at her own style before making judgments on others.
Grow up and get real, Sam

You are so right Jo Jo, she stood there with her hand on her hip posing, calling herself a Princess and acting like something smelled bad. The poor young couple, no money, first house, did the best they could and she was horrible and catty about them.

I have not been watching Moving UP, just taping them. I did finally see this episode and was shocked at the $109,000 budget Samantha & her husband had.The other couple did make some very nice changes, and their budget was 1/10 ? of that.Even with the huge dollars spent, it looked like she reused her draperies, and a lot of stuff from her first home.I don't think it was anything special.Certianly NOT REGAL!, in my opinion. I think Samantha possibly is from an affleunt family, which is fine.I don't think that money will buy a person good taste, tact,or appreciation/considerstion for others.I think it took about 1 minute to realize that she had this attitude, and I think her comments confirmed this. She isn't a bad person, she just had a high opinion of herself, and her 'design ability'.
She and her spouse had unusual behavior; above everyone else, I guess. But...Wow, do they have nice taste. I love landscaping and was particularly interested in how they were going to refurbish outside. Beautiful. Inside looked like a palace. Not sure how that will last being they have a small child. Peanut butter and applesauce is bound to find its way on that 'spensive sofa. I wonder what they do for a living to afford such a budget.
