It's one of my favorite for some strange reason. And Doug has been unusually funny this season.

Nice Job TLC!!

I think that it's really the homeowners that are making him appear funny! Did you see how funny they were on the last new episode, "Zen free stress/ Matching Dress?" Those people were hilarious Cool

I'm glad it's back, too. The critiquing at the end of the show always amuses me - most of the homeowners can sure dish it, but get really defensive when their house is on the hot seat!

I just discovered this show was on for the first time. I love it! Doug is so funny! I love to see the before/after results and the reactions from the past/present homeowners.

I glad Doug and the show is back!! I've missed it. I've learned alot about renovations but mostly I just love doug's zany personality. There isn't anything he won't say or do. I love that kind of humor in a person. It seems to lighten up the tension for some of the new moving up homeowners to.

Is doug married?

Why? I just watched this show for the 1st time - seemed very mean spirited to me. The one where the mother bought a house for a young couple. Hope the others are different. I might watch one more time...hoping at least they don't laugh at each other next time. Could be done without all that sniping and defensiveness. But, I guess that's what people like...not for me.

you should check out last week's episode - "Leaving AZ". all the participants were kind, beautiful, witty, talented - I could go on and on. And did I mention i was one of the houses featured?

I love this show too but I liked it much better when Doug was not serving as both host and narrator. I prefer the old narrator.

I think with the few 'minor changes' made to the show this season, Doug's role as host needs to includes the added 'narrative' comments on the changes. He is following the home owner's progress which seems have shortend the time they have to 'Move Up'.I prefer more of Doug's
comments to that of the old narrator.
In my opinion, it would seem odd to have a 'random' voice making the comments.
