I do too, but do you know how many race horses are sold at auction for horse meat for Canada??? ALOT! Most dont give a darn about the horse after it cant win, and the difference is the media is making sure they do what they can for him.
I saw a show a little while ago after horse auctions for slaugher. These horses went from having the world on a silver platter to a sloppy mess in a matter of a few months.. Horse racing in this brutal on the horses, and few get to the top of where the owners want, with many ending up as horse meat in Canada at the auctions.

I saw the other night that he is out and getting exercised up to an hour of walking a day, so things are deffinately looking better for him. Will never run competetively agan but will be pampered and used as stud.

the last i heard was that he has recovered from laminitis and his cast is off!!!! way to go barbaro!!!!

the last thing i heard was that they don't have the cast any more and that he is let out to graze in the pasture

that is sad about the horses goin to the slaughterhouses now my question to you is do u want to hel oe me save the horses from the slaughterhouses includin race horses

It's so cool because my friend owns 20 racehorses and we ride them on the track all the time some are related to famous horses like tornado is related to Seattle Slew. I know all about the horse life in polo,jumping and Racing!

It's soooo sad that he died!!

That is AWSOME.

I cryed when Barbaro died.I saw the show on sbout him.About how he got hurt and up untill he died.Also how his death effected the horse world.May his soul rest in peace.We miss you boy!!!! (Puts flowers on grave)
