Did you know that the Quarter Horse is the most wanted horse in America! You can find a Quarter horse in every single state!

I know you can find other horses in different states but I'm just making a point that the Quarter Horse is the most wanted horse in America.

The Quarter Horse is very versatile, and founded in the US, so it's popularity goes hand in hand with these.

I however, prefer Arabians.

I learned to like all breeds. I do however, have favorites. I love the Arabian form, love the Paint color, and love the Thoroughbred athlete. I have others, but those are my main.

I also learned to like all breeds, but I especially like haute ecole' horses. I love how they high-step, it shows strength, power and beauty!

IMO, high strung is what makes a horse for me. If it's not a firecracker, I don't want to ride it.

My old horse was a "firecracker". She used to chase me when I went into her pasture to catch her and one time she was so high strung that she knew I was going to lunge her and then she lunged herself from walk all the way to canter in a perfect circle it was cool and kinda weird. She was a retired Thoroughbred racer.

LOL

I don't know if I meant that kind of firecracker. I grew up with Arabs and I like a high energy, spirited horse. I myself am very high energy, and fast is usually the only thing on my mind when I'm on a horse. Quarter horses are very nice, and serve their purpose well, but they just lack the flair that an Arab has to me.

I seem to love every breed i come across. when i first started ridding i took lessons on a draft cross and now i will always own a draft cross LOVE them! every where I work and play seems to have at least that one draft cross who everyone loves. they are strong yet soft in a way. when i first got into horses I would never have even though of working with an Appy but then i got a job on an Appy breeding farm and fell in love with that breed too. who knows whats next..I don't need to work with them to know i would love to have a warmblood though!!
