I am an equine science major and I want to become a horse professional horse trainer in events like cutting, reining, barrel racing, roping, and any other western event. I was wondering if anybody knew a good place to do an internship so that I can learn how train horses to do these events. Any advice would be helpful and appreciated. Thank you.

How far are you willing to travel? Do you want to specialize in one area of research? It wounds like you wan to become a master trainer in many areas. I'm sure it's possible, but I would go for one at a time.

I would pick one or two of the area you mentioned, and start googling major ranches that breed in school in those disciplines and start sending your resumes out.
