Ok, a average monthly fee is 400 dollars, so usually how it works is that you come to the barn about 4-5 days a week, and about 1-2 of those days you have lessons, and the oter days u just come around whenever u want and ride the horse it's cheeper then having your own horse, because if u have your own horse then u pay 2,000 a month to board, plus another 1,000 for EVERYTHING else which is a lot and for leasing you basically are just paying for its food and lessons, and if something happens like the horse goes lame or comes down with colic then u can just walk away and u don't have to sell the horse, but the only diadvantages are that its not YOUR horse so u have to ask or let the owner know when u are going to a show or taking it out for a hack, and if anybody asks if u have a horse then you have to say no Frown. But trust me it's A LOT cheaper then having your own horse. Well, good luck!

when you lease a horse the horse is your responsible when a horse gets colic you need to walk it and call the vet and the owner dont listen to horseloverjumper she dont know a thing well buying a horse is probably a heck a lot cheaper trust me i should know but when you buying your horse you need to know how to take care of the horse and what pature you need and all that stuff and not only that you need to be able to call a farrier to trim you horse and the vet bill and that is also for leasin to when you lease a horse to u have to take care of it just like it was your own trust me when you lease a horse there will be rules trust me and not only that there will be payments a mounth mom sais so

Actaully trust me thats how much it is to lease a horse iv leased 5 horses before, huh, don't liste to gusser, I have had a total of 30 horses in my lifetime so far and im in junior high, i get 1st places at every show and i know a thing or two about how to buy a horse, all 9 of my horses go to the best horse boarding faclity in Wa, Legacy hunter jumpers, it is $2000 a month to board, unlike a $2 month for westerns, my barn only execpts english champions, no yearling because they are to annyoying and you have to be able to jump 4 feet, welcome to my world and each of my horses is worth $60,000 your western horses are worth what $6? Ya, now please i know a lot about the horse world i been doing it since i was 2, and have only fallen off once!!!

Well at my barn, when you lease a horse you can ride it whenever you want, groom it, take care of it exept you don't have to pay millions of dollars to do it. It is really cool and I want to try it someday!

really... that's interesting. i have a western horse (who is actually quite dumb!) and lots of english horses who are very very very very smart!! i think the intelligence level varies on how the horse is trained. so i agree with horseloverjumper.... english riding is much more advanced then western riding so the horse must be way smarter and have a higher iq level!

luv ya! burn!
