I love unique horses too. It makes horses different from each other and their designs give them their own personality

All QH, and their names all seem to fit them. Keyhole has a blaze with a little hole in it, hence her name. Buster just looks like a Buster.

The one on the right is named Remy. Riding him is like riding on a couch he's so big And laaazzzy, haha.

i love thinking of horse names! i've got a thouroughbred named Banker and I've also got a 8 month old buckskin paint named Heza Ritzy Chance....but we call him Chance. My mom's horse is named Mercedes. She's a qh. Her horse that died over this past summer was named Vegas. Chance and Vegas or both names on their papers. Banker is just a name...i didn't like it when i bought him but it suits him perfect.

All of our horses are working draft horses, so I suppose that the name thing is different with them. When you choose a name, you try and pick something that's just one or two syllables. When you have 6 horses hitched to a wagon, you want to be able to yell out the lead horses names, and have them respond. Picking a long name for them would make it confusing to the horse. So, our horses have their registered names, and then their nicknames. Such as:

Captain's Barnabus Gold or Barney (he's our stallion)

Barney's Golden Doll or Dolly
Captain's Golden Mist or Misty

We have more, but I can only remember their nicknames, lol......too many horses.

We have:

George (our new stallion, he's only a year old)
Bo
Goldie
Dixie
Heidi
Lady
Babe
Sunny
Rose
Eve

And more, but gosh....when you have close to 30 horses, you forget sometimes, hehe.
