Big news at the barn! The new horse I started riding bucked. No biggy, right? Well every time we cantered he threw in a few. I guess we'll have to work through this. S..l...o...w...l...y but surely. We have a-lot of problems. I'm trying to worm my way into his heart with the occasional carrot. We have trouble even going through straight lines and circles. He hasn't been ridden in a while and so he's a little mad about it. Get this, he's so fat he even has cellulite! LOL Just wanted to wish Ozzie4ever a happy time with her horse. I read her post the other day and it touched my heart. Bye now!!!
How fun! Bucking takes a lot of effort, and the more the better as he works off lots of that cellulite! Seriously, the work you're doing with poles will recapture his interest and eventually, as he regains better fitness, get him more in tune with you.
