I collect Breyer horses and have 26 already. My favorite is my recently purchased Silver from the Lone Ranger model. Does anybody else collect em'?

I do and I love them! I have collected them since I was a little kid and have about 70. The last ones I got are the two palomino foals, one standing and one laying down, because they look just like my colt. I have the Gypsy King and he is one of my favorite.

I just ordered the QH mare, Diamonds Sparkle. I heard it was new one and ordered it from amazon.com. I also have Hidalgo and Cloud which are two of my best ones. Smile

Oh my gosh! I checked out that Breyer site and looked at the horses and then I saw that barn and relized that I have it! I think I got it the Christmas before this one. And it came with a horse but I don't know which one it is, the horse is all black all over and light, plastic. I'll look around some more and try to figure it out. Smile

They are a lot of fun to collect, but it can get expensive! The prices have gone up quite a bit since I started collecting. Now, for a traditional model, the price is usually anywhere from $15 (thats usually for the babies) to $45! I do love to collect them, though. I've been wanting to collect more of the accesories, but expenses again! Now that I have real horses that require ALL of my money Roll Eyes I haven't been able to do as much collecting Frown I have the McClellan (however you spell that) Calvary saddle, a blanket and a few halters, and the Meadowbrook Cart and Harness.

I have the Portuguese Lusitano from the gallery colletion. That thing cost me 80 bucks! I get some of my Breyers online, but most of them come from the feed store. They have a huge wall of them with almost every Breyer ever created, and the prices are sky high! My friend started collecting them and I joined in after. I never imagined that they would be this expensive. Oh well, that's not gonn'a stop my collection. Big Grin

I have been collecting Breyers since I was three. Plus my mom gave me some and when my sister was done with hers, she gave me hers. I think I have upwards of 55 horses, traditional sized, not including the smaller models. I thought that was alot until you go to Kentucky to see the Breyer convention. They must have a whole seperate house to hold all of thier models!! Now that I have no more room I have decided just to stick with collecting the Thoroughbred racehorse models so far I have all of them but I bet they'll make more!
