ok, so i called about a help wanted ad in the newspaper today, and as i got to talking with the lady, she was telling me that she had a couple horses for lease. well, the first ones she mentioned was a black and white clydesdale. well, i talked to my mom and i'm probly going to start leasing the clydesdale and then eventually buying her. I'm going to be going to look at the horse tomorrow and i'm soooooo excited!

Black and White is actually one of the standard colors for Clydesdales, you just don't ever see it on the Budweiser commercials!
Did the "help wanted" part work out too? Sounds like doing stable work might offset some of your lease expenses.
Good luck, she sounds like an awesome horse! What's her name? Post pictures too, if you can!

well, i haven't gone down to the stables yet, but i will be later on today around 6ish.

The barn work will get me free lessons (on the clydesdale)and it will cover part of my board.

I'm not sure what the clydesdales name is, and i don't have any pics of her myself. All i know about her is that she is broke to ride with a saddle and bareback, and she is trained to pull a wagon.

I guess I read that it was a more rare color in comparison to to the standard "brown" Clydesdale. I've actually never saw a picture of a black one. I'm going to google it now.

well, i went and worked at the barn, and i actually didn't ride the clydesdale, but i rode a horse named tradition, and she was great. you can see pics of her if you google

meadow crest farms in catawissa, MO

Her name is either Missy or Bonnie. I went to Meadowcrest for 3-4 years. And the only reason I would go back is if the cops shut the place down. I would seek out Missy and buy her. I Rode Missy for 3 years. Ask me anything about her. For instance, Her front right hoof, one side grows faster than the other so you have to keep it trimmed down or it will crack. Stay away from that place. It is horrible. And Sharon Lefarth/Leslie is only out to get your money, She doesnt care bout you or her horses. Ever notice how the stalls are filled with ammonia and crap? I'm telling you, Missy is an AMAZING horse and I would give anything to have her back. But everytime I didnt have money for Sharon she would pull a story how somebody wants to buy missy. all lies. Even when i paid full lease on Missy, i STILL cleaned stalls. She will work you untill you die. You want to see what kind of a person she is? Wait untill she needs to trimm Danni's feet, Danni is the belgian quarter cross, Sharon will get frustrated with Danni and I kid you not, Get a lunge line and beat that poor innocent horse. If you dont believe me go to, www.myspace.com/peglegjane. In my pictures there are millions of pictures of missy and I Also there are some pictures about Tradition, rode her. There are also pictures of Danni, Check it out. Have any questions? Ask me

I will even explain the picture for you.

Missy Get's greesy heel, mostly in the front two legs. and on the rest of her legs she gets scratches. We had been trying many different ideas to treat it. finally gave up and just shaved her feathers off. so. This is a few monts after when her feathers are slowley growing back.
