Forgive me if this has already been asked/answered.

I watched the salt mine and under the house episodes and noticed the constant changing of the camera tapes. I don't know anything about cameras, but it would seem there got to be another way. Tapes seems such an antiquated way to go. Isn't there something digital ya'll could be using?
I know it would probably cost more, but it seems you would make that up in not buying tapes and saving time during shoots.

Thanks,

I believe that i could answer this. I had the amazing opportunity to work with the crew and I asked the same question. One of the camera guys told me that going digital would add another step in the process and would cost the office more.

Hope that that helped!
