...or...something... I am willing to bet you the best cheesecake in New York City that the Giants will beat the Patriots and win the SuperBowl on Sunday! Now, you must understand where this is coming from...I know nothing of football or the Giants or the Patriots. But, with the city in a football frenzy, I figure, what the heck...a friendly little wager of cheesecake never harmed anyone So, are you in? Are you confident enough to take the challenge, Dave? Do you have enough faith in your team to have the fate of a cheesecake hanging in the balance? And it's not just ANY old cheesecake! No sir! This is the bonafide best cheesecake in the city! Junior's Cheesecake! So, if the Patriots win...you get the cheesecake of the gods, my friend! So, Dave...you up for the challenge? ~ Lisa *not much of a football fan...just a cheesecake fan*

Unfortunately Mannings are notoriously flimsy under pressure.
We can only hope that Brady's foot hurts enough he is thrown off balance.
It's just a dream I have. Sorry Dave.

A) Lisa, I thought you were MY friend! I'd bet you a cheesecake vs Clam Chowder if you can join us at Mystic Seaport in June! B) Perhaps the Mannings might be a threat if they could spend a little less time PLAYING football instead of making STUPID ads, PRETENDING that they play football. But I understand, you are a NYC girl and you gotta have your guys' backs... I get it.. pfft... I get that you are going to LOOOOOOOOSSSEE suckah!

I know nothing of Mannings. Last Giant QB who's name I knew was Phil Simms However, I do know a thing or two about Tom Brady...and I think maybe if I send her a cheesecake, Giselle could be convinced to step on that poor beleagured foot of Tom's with one of her stilettos Sorry, Dave, but alls fair and all that ~ Lisa *seriously knows nothing about football*

DirtE!! Mystic? The closest I've been to Mystic in recent history has been driving past it on my way to Foxwoods And lose? Nah. We have Oreos and ESPN ads on our side...what do the Patriots have? ~ Lisa *thinks those were Superbowl tickets she saw on the boss's desk today*

Now, why did Peyton go to Tennessee and Eli to Ole Miss if they were from Louisiana? I never quite understood that. I mean, why not LSU? The Tigers are a powerhouse. Ole Miss has had some horrible seasons. Not that I now what I'm talking about. No, no...not at all... I just get all this info from watching Shepard ~ Lisa *really not a college football fan*

Archie Manning went to Ole Miss and is a Mississippi native. The Tennessee thing was really his way of becoming a quarterback. LSU already had the talent.

Lisa, perhaps we need to point out that .. you are obssessed with Shepard Smith Which in and of itself isn't anything to worry about, although I do stay up nights wondering why any mother would name her child 'Shepard'. What gives with that?

Ah, I knew Archie went to Ole Miss, but I didn't realize he was a Mississippi native. One night, my friend, who is a UGA alum, made me sit thru a UGA/Ole Miss game on ESPN, and they showed the Ole Miss campus...and Archie Manning Way. Beautiful campus, btw. ~ Lisa *swears she's not a college football fan*

Me? Obsessed with Shepard? Noooo...I just watch his newscasts And to answer your question, he's a "junior". His father is David Shepard Smith, and he's David Shepard Smith Jr. I don't know why they don't use the "David", since his dad is "Shep" and he's "Shepard"... ....and yes, I do know way too much about him...I'll admit that...I have NO idea why I do, but he has taught me a lot about football! ~ Lisa *swears Shepard talks about this stuff on the air! Honest!!*

He's taught you a lot about football but not enough about footwear. Do you still covet those flipflops?

I'll admit...he's footwear challenged...and that's all I'm going to say at the risk of further incriminating myself! ~ Lisa *wondering if Barsky's doubting his chosen teams abilities*

LSU has a great campus. It would take me an hour to walk from one end to the other.

I've heard about LSU's campus. A good friend of mine went there. That's where I learned "Geaux Tigers" ~ Lisa *went to a small basketball college*
