Now, you must understand where this is coming from...I know nothing of football or the Giants or the Patriots. But, with the city in a football frenzy, I figure, what the heck...a friendly little wager of cheesecake never harmed anyone

Archie Manning went to Ole Miss and is a Mississippi native. The Tennessee thing was really his way of becoming a quarterback. LSU already had the talent.

Ah, I knew Archie went to Ole Miss, but I didn't realize he was a Mississippi native. One night, my friend, who is a UGA alum, made me sit thru a UGA/Ole Miss game on ESPN, and they showed the Ole Miss campus...and Archie Manning Way. Beautiful campus, btw.
