Just exactly what is it?? I heard Mike say Doug was shooting footage for the "B roll" when he went down to shoot the footage of the truck....I am guessing it is stuff that doesn't have "the talent" in it but is part of telling the story.

Yes, you are correct. It is the "scenic" stuff without talent. It is an old editing term when there were mostly just 2 tape or film decks when cutting together a story.

Good question- I have personally wondered if anybody understood it. I hate when terms like that get in a show and my not be explained. I want tech terms like that to be explained so no one is left out.

Thanks again for answering my questions. I think if I wasn't in my current profession I would have loved to do something in the entertainment/televsion/movie industry in the behind the scenes area. I just am facinated by all of it...sorry to ask so many questions. I will try to limit it to one a week...maybe. I know you are busy and I think I speak for everyone when I say we really appreciate your answers to the questions.
