We just recently put up a bird/squirrel feeder in our back yard. The response has been amazing! For birds we have had blue jays, black birds, chickadees, mourning doves, sparrows and a few others I haven't been able to identify. We have also had squirrels (one is black!), chipmunks, a rabbit and even a wild turkey was out there this morning! We live in Waltham, MA which is more urban. Still there is a lot of wildlife!
